Leveraging South Australia
Lot Fourteen is an integral part of South Australia’s innovation ecosystem, which brings together research, education, industry and government.
Lot Fourteen links and leverages connections with the Tonsley Innovation District, Adelaide BioMed City, Osborne Naval Shipyard, Edinburgh Defence Precinct, Technology Park and Waite Research Institute to provide a wealth of choice for various industries and enterprises to establish and grow in South Australia.
Lot Fourteen has already been successful in attracting global companies in the key industry sectors of defence, space, hi-tech and creative industries. These sectors have strong potential to meet increasing interstate and global demand, attract investors and leverage South Australia’s comparative advantages.
FIXE
Entrepreneurship, science and innovation are intrinsically linked to South Australia’s hi-tech sector. They drive hi-tech capabilities, enhance business applications and provide new opportunities for economic growth.
FIXE is the new model for entrepreneurship in South Australia.
Led by the Office of the South Australian Chief Entrepreneur based at Lot Fourteen, FIXE aims to inspire, equip, enable and celebrate South Australian entrepreneurs.
Led by the state’s Chief Scientist, South Australia’s science and innovation strategy (EXCITE) will strengthen our research and innovation value chain to deliver economic and social outcomes. This strategy is driven by the key pillars of Excellence, Collaboration, Innovation and Translation, and an Enabled Future Workforce.
EXCITE will also power up innovation and translation districts like Lot Fourteen, to broker new partnerships and establish knowledge transfer networks, set up technology capability hubs and develop the future workforce in priority industry sectors.
