About the role

The Model, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer is responsible for conducting flight safety analysis, supporting mission development with customers, and supporting successful launch and return operations. Responsibilities include:

• Mission development and analysis (i.e., trajectory optimisation, mission plans, operational driver analysis, mission analysis tool development)
• Flight safety (i.e., statistics, failure analysis, risk modelling, flight safety software development, mapping)
• Launch engineering (i.e., Meteorology, situational awareness, range software development, launch operation)
• Aerospace launch vehicle model verification (i.e., 6-DOF models, aerodynamics and gravimetric development, whole of flight vehicle performance)

About you

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aerospace, or equivalent)
• Strong skills in mathematics, statistics, and flight mechanics
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and familiarity with C++ or Python
• Knowledge of model-based design and object-oriented principles
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving project needs
• Proven ability to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, technical environment

This position requires you to hold and maintain a valid Australian Defence Security Clearance.
