Security

The Lot Fourteen Security Office is located at:

All Security personnel are Chief Emergency Wardens and First Aid trained.

The location of the Security Office is shown on our District Map (below).

Please note: Lot Fourteen buildings have a No Tailgating policy for secure building areas. Access passes should be scanned by each individual entering secure areas. Please do not provide entry to anyone who is not your guest.

Maintenance requests

All maintenance requests and other facilities-related works must be submitted via PULSE Response below. This platform is monitored 24/7.

Please note that only the nominated administrator/s of your tenancy can log maintenance requests.

Additional administrators can be added to PULSE Response by the nominated administrator/s for your tenancy.

For issues with PULSE Response access, please email the Lot Fourteen Property Manager.

Tenant Fitout works

Minor Tenant Works
eg tenancy signage, install of office equipment, or other works that don’t impact the structure or services of the building.

  • Please email your request along with any other supporting information including; drawings, photos, and details of the nominated licenced contractor to the Lot Fourteen Property Manager for review and approval.

Major Tenant Works
eg tenancy refurbishments, addition of partition walls, or any works that impact the structure or services of the building.

  • Please review the below Tenant Fitout Guide and Greenstar fitout requirements (if applicable).
  • Submit the tenant works request to the Property Manager with all supporting information as outlined in the Tenant Fitout Guide. Remember to consider any impact on building services, eg air conditioning or essential safety services plus all relevant statutory approvals required.
  • Please note works cannot commence until at least two weeks from Lessor approval so sufficient notice can be issued to adjoining tenants.

Meeting rooms

All new starters are signed up to our room booking system Robin.

If you haven’t received an invitation to join Robin, please check your junk / spam email folder or email us at [email protected]

For meeting room information including AV facilities, please read the Room Guide below.

Please note: some of our meeting rooms are “Low Tech Rooms” which require users to bring their own adapters for USB-C connectivity.

Please ensure you check the meeting room facilities in Robin before booking.

 

 

Emergency Management

In the case of an emergency please call 000 for police, ambulance or fire service. Once you have called 000 please then call Security on 0417 987 001 to notify them of the incident and your location. Security will then meet the emergency services personnel and guide them to your location within the district.

If necessary, locations for automatic external defibrillators (AED) are shown on the District Map above.

First 5 Minutes manages Lot Fourteen’s emergency management training, evacuation drills and Emergency Management Manuals.

To access emergency management information please visit the First 5 Minutes Portal via the link below. Please note: Portal access is available to your tenancy’s nominated warden representatives.

Tenants are responsible for ensuring they are compliant with emergency warden requirements.

Lockers and Bike Cage

Lockers – If you would like to request access to a locker in our End of Trip Facilities (located on Lower Ground, McEwin Building) please contact the Lot Fourteen Security Coordinator.

Bike Cage – For access to the secure bike cage (located on the ground floor of the Wilson Carpark) please contact the Lot Fourteen Security Coordinator.

Wilson Carpark

The Wilson Carpark located at Lot Fourteen (access via Frome Road) offers a $10 ‘book a bay’ for all Lot Fourteen residents.

If you are experiencing any issues with the code or any queries please contact Wilson Parking on 1800 727 546 or use the on-site telecom.

Waste management

For locations of waste disposal bins please view the district map above.

Waste collected includes general (red), cardboard (blue), organic (green) and comingle (yellow).

Large / electrical / or bulk items are not to be disposed of in the above bins and must be arranged by the tenant separately.

BBQs

BBQs are available for tenants to use, located in the lower ground courtyard between the Margaret Graham Building and TechCentral.

Please note the following:

  • Security needs to be notified at least 2 days before use (with dates and times of the BBQs being lit)  to organise smoke detector isolations and notify any tenants impacted
  • Tenants using the BBQs are to supply their own gas bottles (LPG, preferably a swap and go)
  • Tenants are to leave the BBQs clean, if further cleaning is required please be advised that the cost will be oncharged to the tenant
  • Tenants must provide their own utensils
  • Any issues with the BBQs to be logged via Pulse Response 

Barbeque safety is the responsibility of every user.  Please take the time to read the SAMFS’ Safety Guidelines, and put them into practice while using the BBQs on site.

Table tennis

Table tennis facilities are available for tenants to use, located in the courtyard next to TechCentral.

Bats / balls are stored within the key cabinet located in the airlock to the left of the TechCentral East Access Door (Door C).

Please use your Lot Fourteen access pass to enter the airlock (via the painted door).

Please ensure you return all equipment to the key cabinet at the end of use.
