About the role

We’re seeking a forward-thinking Project Manager – Ranges & Infrastructure to lead the design, development, and delivery of world-class rocket launch and test facilities. Reporting to the Head of Ranges & Infrastructure, you’ll manage civil and structural works while applying a systems engineering approach to deliver permanent, scalable, and integrated solutions aligned with our long-term launch and testing strategy. Responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure delivery from concept to handover.
• Apply systems engineering to integrate civil, utilities, control, and safety systems.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into practical, buildable solutions.
• Align projects with long-term strategic and operational goals.
• Manage contractors, consultants, and internal teams for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and industry standards.
• Drive innovation, value engineering, and lifecycle cost optimisation.
• Produce technical documentation (drawings, specs, reports, interface definitions).
• Provide subject matter expertise in audits, risk assessments, and readiness reviews.

About you

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects in demanding sectors.
• Skilled in systems engineering and multi-disciplinary integration.
• Strong project, procurement, and contract management knowledge.
• Able to work across design, construction, and operations.
• Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.
• Working knowledge and experience with Australian building standards

This position requires you to hold and maintain a valid Australian Defence Security Clearance.
