  • Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, reporting tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Engage with non-financial stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in financial performance and decision-making.

  • CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards qualification, with 3–5+ years’ experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
  • Strong financial analysis, modelling, and reporting skills, including variance analysis and familiarity with budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with financial systems (e.g., Xero or similar).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in project-based or technical environments (e.g., engineering, R&D), with a solid understanding of project accounting and cost tracking.
  • Proactive, commercially astute, and solutions-focused, able to manage multiple priorities and challenge assumptions where appropriate.

This position requires you to hold and maintain a valid Australian Defence Security Clearance.
