Proceeds from Agora High-Tech’s book to support young people in STEM ecosystem

Posted December 12, 2024

Agora High-Tech is proud to announce that the proceeds from the sale of the book ‘A dynamic and synergistic environment where STEM knowledge flourishes‘ are being directed back into supporting the STEM ecosystem through a partnership between Agora High-Tech, supported by Makers Empire, and the South Australian Department of Education.

This book introduces the concept of a ‘dynamic and synergist environment’ representing a holistic ecosystem where young people, from early childhood to your adulthood, are nurtured to evolve into STEM-literate individuals and globally responsible citizens.

This collaboration between Agora High-Tech and the Department of Education includes awarding a scholarship to an Aboriginal student to support their STEM education journey and promoting impactful engagement with the broader community during the STEM Aboriginal Learner Congress 2025.

During the Congress, Agora High-Tech will:

  • deliver and share around 100 books to teachers and mentors involved with the congress, and
  • deliver a series of workshops with Makers Empire and the Australian Space Discovery Centre both onsite at the Congress and from the Australian Space Discovery Centre in Lot Fourteen.

The STEM Aboriginal Learner Congress is a transformative event that raises awareness of the importance of STEM literacy and engagement among Aboriginal learners. It plays a vital role in inspiring the next generation of First Nations professionals and encouraging them to pursue careers in STEM fields. While Agora High-Tech’s contribution may be just a small drop in the ocean, they are proud to play our part in this important initiative.

This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable support of the following organisations, whose generous contributions through purchasing copies of this book made this project a reality:

• Cyber Ops

• Makers Empire

• Inovor Technologies

• Fleet Technologies

• Saber Astronautics

• Smartsat CRC

• Defence SA

• Department Innovation and R&D SA Government
