The Neighbourhood

Adelaide City Deal

With a $150 million investment from the Federal Government, the Adelaide City Deal builds on Adelaide’s global reputation in innovation, culture and the arts. That investment, together with support and collaboration from the state government and City of Adelaide, will underpin the world-leading neighbourhood of Lot Fourteen, grow Australia’s space sector to create future-orientated jobs and business opportunities in Adelaide, and provide new key cultural and educational facilities.

Designed for you

Lot Fourteen will not simply be a place to work – it’s a mixed-use precinct that combines nature, culture, enterprise and people in a way that only Adelaide can. With spaces designed to inspire, relax and share ideas. Dotted throughout our laneways amongst the heritage buildings and new buildings you’ll find courtyards, lawns and areas buzzing with life. Neighbourhood retail and cafe's, community spaces, as well as common rooms and shared kitchens set the scene for informal catch-ups over a bite to eat and event spaces create the perfect backdrop for functions and workshops.

Activity and events

From mid-week functions to end-of-month Hello Fridays, a curated program of activity underpins the opportunity for people to meet, socialise and collaborate. Designed to be as informative as they are enjoyable, Lot Fourteen’s calendar includes ‘Lunch and Learn’ seminars and one-off special events for the community, to get-togethers to meet the neighbours and regular social functions. All designed to help those that work or play here, gain inspiration, forge valuable networks, discover the latest industry innovations, and simply let their hair down at the end of a busy month.

Health and wellness

Breakthrough innovations come from inspired minds working in environments that enable them to thrive – it’s why Lot Fourteen is designed to enhance environmental, commercial and human sustainability. In addition to its range of health and wellness activities including yoga, massage, meditation, fitness classes and more, every building will seek a 6-Star Green Star rating for design and construction. Together, they support Lot Fourteen’s aim of achieving the southern hemisphere’s first WELL Community rating from the International WELL Building Institute.

Technology

Lot Fourteen is the epitome of the true smart precinct, and will be known for its place as the most connected, technology-focused neighbourhood in Australia. High-speed communication networks (wired and wireless) for ultra-fast and affordable internet, cyber security implementation, smart buildings and smart infrastructure will make Lot Fourteen one of the most advanced innovation neighbourhoods in the world. What’s more, our neighbours can access a unique app designed specifically for them to stay connected to Lot Fourteen – even when off-site and visitors will also have a truly immersive digital experience.
