International Centre for Food, Hospitality and Tourism Studies

The International Centre will be a world-class research, training and education facility for exciting global careers in the food, hospitality and tourism industries.

The International Centre for Food, Hospitality and Tourism Studies will build on South Australia’s strong reputation for premium food and wine, bringing together existing leading vocational training academies to provide world-leading training for South Australian and international students.

The new, fully integrated International Centre will be home to top-tier education, training and research providers that will offer courses and programmes to meet the growing demands of the global food, hospitality and tourism industries. 

The State Government has committed $30 million to the International Centre project under the Infrastructure to the South Australian Economy initiative. The Australian Government has also committed funding of $30 million as part of the Adelaide City Deal.

The International Centre will add value to the local sector by encouraging public interaction and industry use of spaces. The International Centre is currently in the design stage and is scheduled to commence construction by the end of 2021 and open in late 2023.
