Here at QuantX we strive for precision, it’s our thing. Each and every employee is empowered to play an integral role in the growth of the company and our technologies. We are a small team making a big impact.
If you think your skills meet our growing company requirements, please follow the Application Guidelines and we will be in touch.
We are looking for an experienced laser or atomic physicist, to work across our pipeline of cutting-edge projects and products from quantum sensing to spaceborne atomic clocks. The role will focus on building and testing prototypes of optoelectronic systems and working with a team of engineers to develop these technologies into real-world products.
You will ideally have experience in design and assembly of laser systems, intensity and frequency noise measurement and feedback control systems. It would also be beneficial if you are familiar with atomic energy level structure, digital signal processing and advanced data processing/machine learning algorithms.
You will be responsible for the designing and implementing laser and quantum systems, assembling optical prototypes, characterising and troubleshooting performance and authoring reports on performance for stakeholders. While you are not expected to have experience, you should have a desire to learn and work across a range of areas including quantum-magnetometry, laser time delivery, orbital relativity, mesh networking, and laser satellite systems.
The premier, sovereign provider of high precision timing and quantum sensors for use in defence and space. Our leading-edge technologies are just the beginning of the innovative solutions on offer.
