This month, George Freney, 11point2 co-founder, will welcome Rory Linehan, CODAN CTO and Mintec President & Executive General Manager. They will discuss CODAN's track record on innovation and product development, which has seen more than $2 billion added to CODAN's market cap in the last 18 months, plus his thoughts on their future direction and strategy to invest in core and emerging technologies.
11point2 is an Idea Validation company, who connects unobvious dots to create clarity within the chaos of transformative, disruptive innovation. They enable organisations to conceive and rapidly validate ideas they would otherwise never have found.
The events will include drinks and nibbles at Stone & Chalk, and you'll have the chance to meet residents from the multitude of startups at Stone & Chalk, along with interesting people doing interesting things that form part of the 11point2 network.

George has founded and helped other entrepreneurs with successful businesses in furniture manufacturing, convenience retail, travel, technology, and retail technology. He helped to build and globally scale conTgo and then sell to Concur (acquired by SAP) in 2013 and co-found booodl, which aimed to tackle one of the most complex problems in physical retail. George regularly speaks about technology, innovation, and retail disruption at events and in the media. George has current and recent Board experience across both the public and private sectors, including; Entrepreneurial Advisory Board, RAA Board, Port Adelaide Brand & Marketing Committee, and Flinders University Council.
George holds an honors degree in chemical engineering from the University of Adelaide and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia.

Rory joined Codan in March 2014, working across the group to leverage technology and innovation in developing strategies for growth. In February 2019, he was appointed to the role of Chief Technology Officer and leads the company’s Technology Council to maximize synergies across the Codan group and assess new opportunities for organic and acquisitive growth. In addition to this group role, Rory is Executive General Manager of Minetec. Rory holds degrees in Physics and Engineering and a PhD in Mathematics from Coventry University (UK). In November 2018, Rory completed the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program (AMP). He has skills in strategy, marketing, business development, systems engineering and programme management gained across a wide range of complex projects, including development of the Boeing 787 primary flight-control system. Prior to Codan, Rory held a number of senior positions with blue-chip firms in the UK, including McLaren, Cobham and Goodrich.
